    Carlo Ancelotti is the highest-paid national team coach right now, but 2006 Italy World Cup winner Fabio Cannavaro is also in the top 10, contrary to Gennaro Gattuso.

    La Gazzetta dello Sport has published the top 10 of the highest international coaches, which includes two former Italy internationals: Cannavaro and Ancelotti.

    Cannavaro has recently been appointed as the new Uzbekistan national team coach and ranks fourth with a €4m-a-year salary, the same as Portugal’s boss Roberto Martinez.

    A familiar face in Serie A, Didier Deschamps, a former Juventus midfielder and coach, ranks sixth, earning €3.8m as the France national team coach.

    Ancelotti the highest-paid international coach

    Brazil CT Ancelotti is the highest-paid international coach right now with a salary of €9.5m.

    Italy national team coach Gattuso is far away from the figures in the top 10, as Italian sources report the new Azzurri boss has agreed to a €800,000-a-year salary and a €1m bonus if the Azzurri qualify for the World Cup.
