Italy international Guglielmo Vicario starts for Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Super Cup against a Paris Saint-Germain side that starts life after Gianluigi Donnarumma.

It kicks off at the Stadio Friuli in Udine at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT).

The winner will be decided after 90 minutes, or go straight to a penalty shoot-out, without requiring extra time.

This is the traditional pre-season opener between the holders of the Champions League and the Europa League winners.

It was going to be the battle of the Italian goalkeepers, but only Vicario gets to feature on Italian soil this evening, because PSG left Donnarumma at home.

This is their latest heavy-handed gesture to push him out of the squad and avoid letting him leave as a free agent at the end of the season.

His replacement, Lucas Chevalier, is thrown straight into the mix for his Parisian debut.

Former Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia also starts for PSG, but Joao Neves is suspended and Nordi Mukiele injured.

Meanwhile, Vicario is not joined by fellow Italy international Destiny Udogie, who is currently out injured along with James Maddison and Radu Dragusin.
