The dates and times of the first three matchdays of the 2025-26 Serie A season have been announced today by the league, with the highlight being the Derby d’Italia between Juventus and Inter scheduled for Saturday September 13 at 18:00 local time.

The full fixture list was published earlier this month but now the specific dates and times for the first three games have been confirmed.

Early derby chance for Juventus or Inter to make their mark

Juventus and Inter both achieved top four finishes this season but with varying fortunes across the campaign. Inter were locked into a title race with Napoli throughout the entire year but in the end lost out, despite taking Napoli to the final game of the season.

Juventus, meanwhile, started the campaign in a shakier position than their rivals but in the end finished just 11 points behind them.

With the two sides set to meet in game-week three in this upcoming season, both will have the opportunity to set the pace against the other and hopefully set their tone for the remainder of the season.
