Igor Tudor, Patrick Vieira and Stefano Pioli were all dismissed within a week, after Serie A clubs had gone the first six matches without a managerial change for the first time in eight years.
Three Serie A clubs have changed their coaches in the last week as Juventus, Genoa and Fiorentina looked for a fresh start following a disappointing start to the season.
The surge of dismissals followed an unusually calm start to the Serie A season, during which no coach was dismissed in the first six rounds.
Tudor, Vieira and Pioli sacked within a week

Juventus were the first club to sack their coach in 2025-26, relieving Igor Tudor of his duties after a 1-0 loss against Lazio.
Tudor was replaced by Massimo Brambilla for a mid-week Serie A round against Udinese before Luciano Spalletti’s appointment. The Tuscan tactician secured a 2-1 win over Cremonese on his debut on Saturday.
Tudor was sacked on October 27, and five days later, it was Vieira’s turn at Genoa.
The Grifone had not won any of the opening nine games, sitting at the bottom of the table.
Genoa and Fiorentina in talks with potential new coaches

On Monday, they beat Sassuolo 2-1 away, securing their first victory this season with interim coaches Domenico Criscito and Roberto Murgita.
Genoa are also expected to hire a new coach in the coming days, with Daniele De Rossi seen as the favourite to take over at Marassi.
Fiorentina were the third and – for now – last club to part company with their coach as Stefano Pioli was officially sacked today.
Daniele Galloppa, the Fiorentina U20 coach, will lead the team against Mainz and Thursday and, perhaps, against Genoa over the weekend, even if Fiorentina are currently in talks with Roberto D’Aversa for the replacement of Pioli.
The Tuscans sit at the rock bottom of the Serie A table after 10 rounds.
