When Sergio Ramos held Lamine Yamal’s hand in the Nou Camp tunnel back in 2016, he definitely didn’t have premonitions of the Barcelona youngster one day inflicting misery on him at the age of 37.
To be fair, Ramos probably didn’t envisage himself being back playing at Sevilla and Friday’s match-deciding own goal at the Nou Camp might have had him wishing he wasn’t.
Barcelona maintained their stance at the top of LaLiga with a 1-0 home win over Sevilla, sealed by Ramos turning the ball into his own net in the 76th-minute.
But, it was the efforts of the now 16-year-old Yamal who prompted him to make the grave close-range error in the stadium he once enjoyed tremendous success at with Real Madrid.
Now, a video has emerged showing Yamal and Ramos one standing hand-in-hand together in the tunnel at the Nou Camp before Spain’s two biggest teams emerged for another El Clasico battle.

A then-eight-year-old Yamal was star-struck as he and his mascot friends took their place amongst the Real Madrid stars waiting to go to war against their Catalan rivals.
Yamal admiringly looks up at Ramos before taking the four-time Champions League winner’s hand with a huge grin etched across his face.
Madrid would go on to win the match 2-1 as goals from Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo proved to be the difference.
Ramos was sent off in the encounter and didn’t fare much better when returning to the site nine-years later.

On Friday there was an even bigger smile on Yamal’s face when the Barcelona prodigy ran off to celebrate after Ramos prodded the ball past Sevilla goalkeeper Orjan Nyland.
It was Yamal’s attempted pass that caused Ramos to concede the own goal as the Barcelona star met Raphinha’s cross at the back-post and played a first-touch pass back across the face of goal.
Ramos lazily stuck out his leg to try and intervene but only managed to turn the ball into his own net as the Nou Camp went wild celebrating the former Madrid man’s mistake.
The 16-year-old talent is Barcelona’s youngest-ever senior player and has already scored for the Spain national team, who Ramos once guided to a World Cup title, during his short career so far.
