Paulo Dybala scored one goal and set up another as Roma rode to a late 3-1 win at home against Udinese in Serie A on Sunday.

Nine minutes before the end, the Argentine put Roma back in front when received a free pass from Romelu Lukaku and slotted it in from inside the box.

Roma had opened the scoring after 20 minutes when Dybala delivered a free kick into the box that Gianluca Mancini headed into the net, but Udinese equalised just before the hour mark with a headed goal of their own through Florian Thauvin.

Stephan El Shaarawy sealed the win for Roma in the 90th minute with a well-placed shot from a tight angle inside the box.

Roma moved to fifth in the table with 21 points, three points behind Napoli in fourth. Udinese are 16th.

Jose Mourinho and his players had a red mark on their cheeks to support an annual campaign combating violence against women.

This is an annual campaign called ‘show violence towards women the red card’ and represents a lipstick mark.

However, this year the message has an added level of significance, as this weekend there were marches in cities all over Italy in protest at the rise of young women being murdered by their former partners.
