Frank Lampard ‘could take over at Major League Soccer team Charlotte FC’ with the Chelsea legend and ex-Everton boss in the running with Dean Smith for the coaching role

Charlotte FC are reportedly in talks with Frank Lampard over their vacant coaching role.

Reports on Tuesday night said that Lampard, the former Chelsea and Everton manager who played in Major League Soccer with New York City FC, is in the running for the job alongside former Aston Villa coach Dean Smith.

Lampard has been out of work as a coach since his second spell at Chelsea, where he returned on an interim basis after the Premier League club fired Graham Potter
