Footage has emerged on social media of Manchester United star Rasmus Hojlund seemingly ignoring his so-called lookalike after Sunday’s 3-0 win over West Ham.

Australian singer Sean Millis, who made his name on The Voice, has become somewhat of a cult hero with English football fans who believe he looks like Man United striker Hojlund.

Millis gained traction on social media after releasing a song titled Waiting on a Miracle, with fans reposting the music video every time Hojlund failed to score, mocking the Danish star’s rough start in the Premier League.

Hojlund eventually managed to break his top-flight duck, though, in late December, which saw Millis’ song again all over social media, even landing the Australian top spot in the UK Viral Charts.

Now, after Hojlund seems to have gotten over his Premier League hoodoo, Millis was in attendance at Old Trafford, and was spotted in a crowd of fans waiting outside the ground.

Footage shows Hojlund exit the stadium on his way home after netting in the 3-0 win, with fans shouting his name.

One of those was Millis, with another heard shouting: ‘Sean Millis is here!’

Millis himself shouted Hojlund’s name, with the small group applauding the player as he emerged.

However, the Danish forward seemed not to hear the supporters, and continued on his way out the ground.

Hojlund has managed to come out the other side of a dry patch in the league with a good run of performances for United.

After waiting until December 26 – 15 games – to open his top-flight account, Hojlund has since scored in every game he has played, the player clearly getting to grips in the league.

He remains United’s top scorer in all competitions as well, thanks in large part to his impressive return in the club’s short Champions League campaign.

His 10 strikes lead the way, ahead of Alejandro Garnacho, Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay (all seven), and Marcus Rashford (five).

The form of Hojlund, Garnacho and youngster Kobbie Mainoo in midfield has led to praise for the trio amid what has been a trying campaign for the Red Devils.

The three were pictured posed on the advertising boards after Garnacho’s first strike of the game, mimicking Mohammed Kudus similar celebration in the same fixture at West Ham earlier in the season.

After the game Hojlund spoke of his growing connection with Garnacho, both scoring again on the Dane’s 21st birthday.

‘We are young, I just turned 21, he [Garnacho] is still 19, we are getting better every day and you can see the connection is growing,’ he said.
