Here’s our Bundesliga Team of the Week for Matchday 1.

Goalkeeper: Kamil Grabara, Wolfsburg
Impressive in his Bundesliga debut, making a total of 6 saves against Bayern. Wolfsburg eventually lost 2-3, but Grabara certainly wasn’t to blame.

Full-back: Lukas Kübler, Freiburg
After coming off the bench in the DFB-Pokal, Kübler returned to the starting line-up against Stuttgart and showed why he deserved it, capping a solid performance with a rare brace.

Centre-back: Niklas Süle, Borussia Dortmund
Süle was criticized for his mentality and fitness in the second half of last season, but he has started the new campaign in excellent shape and was rock solid in Dortmund’s 2-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt.

Centre-back: Anton Stach, Hoffenheim
A natural central midfielder, Stach impressed at the back, winning 10 of his 12 duels and completing 92% of his passes.

Full-back: Mitchell Weiser, Werder Bremen
Weiser was everywhere for Werder and provided two assists in a 2-2 draw with Augsburg.

Central midfielder: Granit Xhaka, Bayer Leverkusen
Xhaka scored a wonderful goal and, as usual, pulled the strings in midfield for Leverkusen, completing 94 percent of his passes.

Winger: Florian Wirtz, Bayer Leverkusen
Wirtz scored a brace, including the last-gasp winner, to help Leverkusen to three hard-fought points.

Attacking midfielder: Lovro Majer, Wolfsburg
Scored an eye-catching brace for Wolfsburg in their 2-3 defeat to Bayern.

Attacking midfielder: Andrej Kramaric, Hoffenheim
The Croatian veteran couldn’t have had a better start to the season, scoring a hat-trick against Holstein Kiel.

Winger: Jamie Gittens, Borussia Dortmund
Came off the bench to make the difference for Borussia Dortmund with two goals.

Striker: Harry Kane, Bayern Munich
He didn’t score, but was a big threat for Bayern, and it was his header that brought his side level at 2-2, as it hit Jakub Kaminski and went in. He also set up Serge Gnabry for the winner.
