On the podcast today; a fun game at the Emirates but do Arsenal or Liverpool look like genuine title contenders? Arsenal, depleted by injuries and suspensions, were perhaps unfortunate not to win after being on the wrong end of some close refereeing decisions.

Elsewhere, Manchester United lost at West Ham thanks to a very late and somewhat dubious VAR decision. The podcast had (of course) finished recording when the news of Erik ten Hag’s sacking came through – more on that on Tuesday’s pod.

Plus: Crystal Palace get their first win of the season thanks to Spurs, Chris Wood keeps scoring for Nottingham Forest and the pod wrap up the rest of the Premier League action.
