Zirkzee agent ‘already moving’ to secure ‘popular’ Man Utd exit

Joshua Zirkzee‘s agent Kia Joorabchian is ‘already moving his pawns behind the scenes’ to secure his client’s next move, according to Italian media.

The Dutchman continues to be the name on everyone’s lips in Italy. Zirkzee’s links with a return to Serie A do not appear to be going away anytime soon amid his disappointing form for Man Utd.

Though it is acknowledged that Ruben Amorim will give the versatile forward a chance to impress, there is a feeling that some at Man Utd have already written off Zirkzee as another one of Erik ten Hag’s flops who should be offloaded sooner rather than later.

Indeed, Italian media appears to subscribe to this train of thought as links with Juventus continue to proliferate. Last Saturday, it was claimed that a move to the Old Lady could be possible due to Dusan Vlahovic’s indifferent output.

Two days later, on Monday, there was talk that contract negotiations with Vlahovic had ‘jammed’ and that a January sale was being pondered. Now, it is claimed that Zirkzee’s agent is already trying to engineer a move to Juventus.

Zirkzee to Juventus a ‘popular solution’

Calciomercato claims that the Dutchman’s notorious agent Kia Joorabchian is ‘already moving his pawns behind the scenes.’ In the summer, the super agent ruined Zirkzee’s preferred transfer to AC Milan by demanding a €15 million commission.

However, unlike with the Rossoneri, Joorabchian has an excellent relationship with Juventus transfer chief Cristiano Giuntoli and the Italian outlet asserts that ‘the two have been talking for months about the situation of the former Bologna player.’

A move to the Bianconeri is a ‘solution’ that is ‘very popular for many reasons.’ His salary fits perfectly into Juventus’ new structure – as opposed to Vlahovic’s massive earnings – and, of course, he has an excellent relationship with his former coach Thiago Motta.

Moreover, Juventus expect that the final price tag won’t be much higher than the €42.5m Man Utd paid in the summer, though there is an acceptance that only an initial loan move would be possible in January.
