The ex-England international is currently on loan at Chelsea from Manchester United and reports suggest the deal will become permanent for a transfer fee of €30 million if Enzo Maresca’s side finish 14th or higher in the Premier League table this season.

However, Tottenham are eager to sign Sancho in 2025 regardless of whether his loan move to Chelsea becomes permanent next summer.

That is according to Spanish outlet Fichajes, who claim that Ange Postecoglou’s team have emerged as serious suitors for Sancho’s signature in recent weeks.

Spurs currently have Son Heung-min, Timo Werner, Richarlison and youngster Mikey Moore as options on the left flank, while Brennan Johnson occupies the right, but they are reportedly interested in adding Sancho to their ranks.

The 24-year-old was linked with a move to Tottenham last year, but the north London side opted against a move and he subsequently returned to Borussia Dortmund on loan in January.

Jadon Sancho to leave Man Utd on a permanent deal

Sancho endured a torrid time under Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford and he was close to leaving the Red Devils permanently this summer, with Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain extremely interested in a move, as revealed by FootballTransfers.

However, he secured a loan move to Chelsea on Transfer Deadline Day, following Raheem Sterling’s move to Arsenal, and the Blues are set to sign him next summer.

Sancho has made six appearances since his move to Chelsea in August, contributing three assists in his first three games for the club, but he has been missing since October due to injury and illness.

The Englishman is now back to full fitness, though, and is in contention to start against Leicester City on Saturday.
