Sesko set to stay at Leipzig

Arsenal are unlikely to land the signature of Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig during the winter transfer window.

The Gunners are aiming to sign a marquee striker this winter and they have been heavily linked with Sesko in recent days.

A report recently claimed that the Gunners have made contact with Leipzig and want to land him on loan with an option to buy.

However, this has been quickly dismissed by his agent, who confirmed that the striker plans to stay with Leipzig for the season.

The Bundesliga outfit also have no plans to part ways with the marksman and will only discuss his potential transfer this summer.

The news is a huge setback for the north London giants.

Arsenal will need to look at alternative options in the transfer market as they aim to fill the void left by Gabriel Jesus‘ injury.

They could consider a move for Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic, who has been on their radar for the past three or so years.
