Kevin Müller’s future at Heidenheim has been the subject of speculation for some time.

However, he has now put an end to that speculation by extending his contract with the Bundesliga side, which was due to expire in the summer.

The 33-year-old goalkeeper’s new contract runs until 2027.

“Of course, at my advanced age in football terms, you don’t take such an important decision lightly. That’s why there were intensive discussions, but in the end I decided that I definitely want to continue my career here at FCH,” said Muller after signing his new contract.

“This club is something very special for me and my family. We feel very much at home here in Heidenheim. I am very grateful to the management, the coaching staff and the team for allowing me to play in the Bundesliga as a goalkeeper.

“What we have achieved together over the past ten years is extraordinary and historic. All FCH fans can be sure that we will do everything in the coming weeks and months to ensure that we can continue to play in the Bundesliga in Heidenheim.”

Muller has been playing for Heidenheim since 2015. He has been in goal for all 18 Bundesliga games this season.
