According to Sport Bild, Bayer Leverkusen have lowered their asking price for Victor Boniface as they look to offload the out-of-favor striker this summer.

At the start of the season, Victor Boniface was the main man up front for Bayer Leverkusen.

However, Patrik Schick seized his chance when Boniface suffered an injury and the Nigerian striker has struggled to regain his place, having made just one start in 2025.

This doesn’t seem to be sitting well with Boniface, who has had disciplinary problems this season. Most recently, he was involved in an altercation with teammate Emiliano Buendia during Leverkusen’s 4-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt.

Such situations are unacceptable to Leverkusen, who, according to Sport Bild, are looking to offload the forward this summer.

Boniface came close to leaving the club back in January, when Leverkusen agreed a fee of 70 million euros with Al Nassr for his services. However, the Saudi Arabian side opted to sign Jhon Duran from Aston Villa instead.

Now, Leverkusen have slashed their asking price for Boniface to €50 million plus bonuses in a bid to finally sell him, the report claims.
