Yamal is expected to sign a contract extension with the Blaugrana, however he has now received a “multi-million-dollar” offer from the Saudi Pro League, according to El Nacional.

The Spain international has emerged as a key transfer target for Saudi Arabian officials, as they continue their bid to poach the best talents from Europe, but he is reportedly prioritising an extended stay at Barcelona.

Despite receiving an extremely attractive offer from the Saudi Pro League, Yamal has made it clear that he wishes to stay at Barcelona in order to establish himself as a club legend at Camp Nou.

Joan Laporta and Deco have also stated that Yamal is “untouchable”, as per El Nacional, and they are expected to tie the Spaniard down to a new deal that runs until 2030, with the contract set to include a release clause worth €1 billion.

Lamine Yamal wants to stay at Barcelona

Yamal was linked with a lucrative move to Paris Saint-Germain last summer, but Barcelona were unwilling to sell the 17-year-old, while he has admitted that rumours of a controversial move to Real Madrid are wide of the mark.

The teenager has scored 12 goals and provided 17 assists in all competitions so far this season, and his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) currently stands at a career high of €174.3 million.

Yamal is the second-most valuable player in world football, behind only Erling Haaland, and Saudi Arabia’s interest isn’t expected to impact his future at Barcelona.
