Perin: Juventus goalkeeper sends cryptic message after Motta’s bombshell interview – Football Italia – April 5 latest

Juventus goalkeeper Mattia Perin has sent a cryptic message via his social media platforms after Thiago Motta’s bombshell interview with Il Corriere della Sera was published on Saturday. ‘Everyone is the architect of their own fortune’. 

Motta, who was sacked from his position as head coach of Juventus and replaced by Igor Tudor in March, gave an in-depth interview to Il Corriere della Sera, discussing his side of the story regarding his sacking, some of his regrets at Continassa, and some of the relationships he held with the Bianconeri players. 

Motta said that he ‘doesn’t agree’ when he hears ‘talk of failure’ given that Juventus were one point away from the Champions League positions when he was dismissed. 

However, reports at the time of his departure suggested that some of the first-team squad had lost faith in the coach’s methods, and described his final training sessions in charge as ‘surreal’.
