Tijjani Reijnders is increasingly frustrated with Milan’s disastrous starts to matches, noting ‘every game is the same,’ while Luka Jovic hopes ‘the coach will see’ his contribution against Fiorentina.
It was a thrilling encounter at San Siro with a Rossoneri fightback from 2-0 down to draw 2-2, but the Viola also had two great finishes disallowed, the Luca Ranieri curler for an earlier foul and the late Dodo volley for offside.
Both goalkeepers made numerous saves in a very entertaining match, but the point each does precious little for either side’s ambitions of qualifying for Europe.

“Again, we started by giving away two goals and every game is the same. We try to get back, but it’s difficult if we start like this,” Reijnders told Sky Sport Italia.
“It’s difficult, but we have to keep fighting for this club, try to win as many games as possible in Serie A and the Coppa Italia. We have to keep fighting, that’s the most important thing.”
Jovic and Reijnders bemused by endemic Milan problems

It remains a mystery why Milan always start games with a handicap, as they conceded four goals in the opening 15 minutes of their last four Serie A games.
“I don’t know what to say, but we need to find the answers,” noted Jovic, who was voted Serie A Man of the Match after his impressive substitute performance.
“We have seven more games, we need to change our game, especially in the first half. In 10 minutes, we conceded two goals, at least we showed character and mentality, I think we deserved to win, but Fiorentina also played a good game.
“I think this point means more for them than for us.”
Jovic is right down the pecking order this season, behind Tammy Abraham and Santiago Gimenez, so rarely gets much of a chance to prove himself.
“As I said, I try my best with the playing time I am given. Fiorentina are my ex-club, I enjoyed my time there, but now I play for Milan. I want to play every match, I do my best and hope the coach will see.”
