Brentford head coach Thomas Frank has an interesting choice of outfit for Premier League side Brentford’s training session on Thursday, rocking up in an iconic ROberto Baggio Italy shirt from 1994. 

Brentford had a ‘football shirt day’ among the first-team players and staff on Thursday, in an effort to raise awareness for the ‘Heart of West London’ project, which aims to educate others about cardiac health issues. 

There were a few interesting choices on the day, as goalkeeper Hákon Valdimarsson showed up in a 1990s-era Milan shirt, while Mikkel Damsgaard, who organised the event, wore an Inter away shirt with the name of his former Brentford teammate and international colleague Christian Eriksen across the back. 

The head coach also got involved, and decided to wear a stunning Baggio shirt from the 1990s for the day. 

‘Thomas knows ball’ the club wrote in a series of social media posts.
