Mehdi Taremi partners Lautaro Martinez in attack for Inter, while Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic support Luka Jovic in the Milan attacking department, as the two teams meet for a special edition of the Derby della Madonnina in the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final on Wednesday night.

The scores are level at 1-1 midway through the Coppa Italia semi-final edition of the Derby della Madonnina after goals from Tammy Abraham and Hakan Calhanoglu at the beginning of April.

Tonight’s game will go to extra time and then penalties if required should the tie end level after 90 minutes.

Simone Inzaghi, who still has a Serie A title fight and a Champions League semi-final to consider, has named a strong, but slightly rotated Inter side. Marcus Thuram has not recovered in time to start, which leads to a rare start up front for Taremi.

Josep Martinez starts in goal for the Nerazzurri, behind a back three consisting of Yann Bisseck, Stefan De Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni. Benjamin Pavard and Francesco Acerbi had started in the recent 1-0 loss to Bologna in Serie A. Hakan Calhanoglu is also afforded a rest in midfield and is replaced by Kristjan Asllani.

Milan, meanwhile, stick with their recently preferred three at the back system with Fikayo Tomori, Matteo Gabbia and Strahinja Pavlovic protecting Mike Maignan in goal.

There is a familiar feel about the Rossoneri midfield and attack, with Youssouf Fofana and Tijjani Reijnders both starting in the middle, with Leao and Pulisic providing the support for Jovic at centre-forward.

Kick-off is due at 20.00 BST.
