Milan defender Kyle Walker sent birthday wishes to his compatriot David Beckham through the club’s official Instagram account: ‘I wear your number with pride.’
Former Milan star Beckham turns 50 today, Friday, May 2, 2025, so his compatriot Walker sent him a heartfelt message on the Rossoneri’s social media accounts.
“Hi David, it’s your birthday, it’s 50 years. That’s why I wanted to wish you a happy birthday! I am at Milan, I wear your number with pride for what you have done for football and for every club you have played for,” Walker said in an Instagram video posted by Milan.
“The Rossoneri family is very attached to you, your name alone says it all in the world of football. From me and everyone here at Milan, I wish you a happy 50th birthday!”
Walker joined the Rossoneri on a loan deal with an option to buy from Manchester City in the January transfer window.
Beckham played for the Rossoneri under Carlo Ancelotti in 2010, making 11 appearances with the Serie A giants.
The ex-England international is the current president and co-owner of MLS side Inter Miami CF and co-owner of Salford City.
