With Eintracht Frankfurt on the cusp of securing Champions League football, Dino Toppmöller held his latest press conference ahead of their game with St.Pauli.

“I’m very excited about this final home game. What could be better than the opportunity to take that decisive final step in front of our own fans?!

“Regardless of what happens tomorrow at the other pitches, we have an extremely high level of motivation to win our own game on Sunday.

“St.Pauli has very good defensive stability and they adapt well to their opponents in every game. They also have good forward processes and ideas,” he added.

Die Adler’s 44-year-old head coach was very pleased by the lack of injuries sustained by this stage of the campaign with only two players ruled out.

“Mario Götze’s MRI scan was normal in terms of his recovery, but he won’t play again this season.

“Apart from Mario and Kauã [Santos], all of the other players are available, which is very pleasing given this time of the season,” he added.
