Manchester United are planning a shock approach to sign Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, as per TyC Sports.
The Red Devils are preparing for a busy summer transfer window and they are already close to purchasing Wolves star Matheus Cunha.
Talks are also underway to land Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap. The Englishman has travelled to Manchester to hold talks.
It is now claimed that Martinez is a potential target for United. The Argentine has decided to pursue a new challenge away from Villa.
The former Arsenal man has his sights on winning silverware. He is on the radar of Saudi clubs but has not ruled out staying in England.
Chelsea are one of the clubs monitoring his situation and the Blues could be joined by United, who could part ways with Andre Onana.
Onana has been guilty of conceding several goals with errors and the Red Devils could cash in on him amid interest from Saudi teams.
