As per reports from Sky Sports’ Florian Plettenberg, Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Granit Xhaka is not pushing for a move away from the club this summer.
The update comes following enquiries from AC Milan and Galatasaray regarding a potential deal for the Swiss midfielder.
While new manager Erik ten Hag wants to keep hold of Xhaka, both the club and player are leaving the door open in case a huge proposal arrives.
It is understood that the 32-year-old is not pushing for a move away from Die Werkself this summer, with his relationship with the club remaining positive and respectful.
A transfer would only be considered if a top offer were to arrive, with Xhaka under contract at the BayArena until 2028.
Xhaka signed for the club in the summer of 2023 and has missed just two Bundesliga matches since, scoring five goals and registering seven assists along the way.
