Dusan Vlahovic’s plans for next season remain up in the air amidst links to both Fenerbahce and Milan in recent days, but reports in Italy suggest that there is still a chance that the Serbian remains with Juventus for the 2025-26 season.
Here is what needs to happen if that is to be the case.
Vlahovic contract and transfer situation explained
Vlahovic will be entering the final year of his Juventus contract in 2025-26, having penned a four-and-a-half year deal after joining from Fiorentina in the winter of 2022.

Vlahovic remains the highest earner in Serie A as things stand with a reported net salary of €10.5m per season, which will rise to €12m for the final year of his deal in 2025-26.
Given that Juventus spent a total of €80m to sign Vlahovic from Fiorentina, the club are still keen to avoid losing him on a free transfer, which can happen if Vlahovic is still on Juve’s books by February 1, 2026.
That means that without a new contract extension, Juventus will have to sell Vlahovic in the upcoming summer transfer window if they are to avoid losing him for free.
There have been reports linking Vlahovic with a move to join Jose Mourinho at Fenerbahce, although Alfredo Pedullà reports that the Serbian has already turned that opportunity down. There have also been suggestions that Massimiliano Allegri is keen to bring him to Milan.
How Juventus can keep Vlahovic beyond 2025-26

However, according to updates from La Gazzetta dello Sport, there is still a possibility that Vlahovic signs a new contract extension with the Bianconeri.
The Pink Paper claims that Juventus are not willing to extend Vlahovic’s contract on the same wages that he currently earns.
However, now that Tudor has been confirmed as the club’s head coach for 2025-26, and given that Tudor is said to be a big fan of Vlahovic, there is a small possibility that the club convinces the player to extend his contract on a slightly reduced set of personal terms.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Juventus remain open to this scenario.
Thursday’s update adds that it will be difficult for the Bianconeri to bring in a new elite-level centre-forward without moving on Vlahovic first, and that keeping hold of the 25-year-old remains the least complicated scenario for the club.
