The Nerazzurri made their Club World Cup debut earlier this week, collecting a 1-1 draw against Mexican club Monterrey.

Inter have been placed in Group E alongside Monterrey, Urawa Red Diamonds and River Plate.

New Inter coach Cristian Chivu has recovered the likes of Denzel Dumfries and Francesco Pio Esposito, but the Nerazzurri must cope without Yann Bisseck, Hakan Calhanoglu, Davide Frattesi, Marcus Thuram and Piotr Zielinski, who are all dealing with injuries.

Lautaro Martinez has scored Inter’s only goal in the competition so far, finalising a free-kick routine in the first half of Tuesday’s match against Monterrey.

Their final group stage game is against River Plate on Wednesday, June 25, at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles at 12:00 local time (Thursday, June 26, at 3:00 CET).
