Arsenal enter talks with Chelsea for Noni Madueke

Arsenal have opened negotiations with Chelsea for the potential transfer of Noni Madueke, according to The Independent’s Miguel Delaney.

The Gunners are keen on landing a versatile winger this summer and Madueke has recently emerged as one of their transfer targets.

Talks are underway with the Blues for the England international, but the Gunners are unlikely to pay over the odds for his services.

Chelsea are eyeing at least £50 million for the former PSV Eindhoven man. That valuation has to come down for the Gunners to recruit him.

Madueke has managed 11 goals and six assists in the current campaign. His gametime is likely to reduce with the arrival of another winger.

Chelsea are actively pursuing a deal for Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens. They are also keen on landing Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho.

Madueke could be tempted to join Arsenal if a deal materialises. The opportunity to continue in London should appeal the 23-year-old.
