Atalanta have submitted a fresh bid for Southampton forward Kamaldeen Sulemana, as reports from Italy suggest the Serie A side are determined to sign the Ghanaian.

According to what has been reported by SkySport tonight, Atalanta’s new offer could prove decisive in answering questions over Sulemana’s future.

The Bergamo side have already had an offer rejected in the region of €14 million by Southampton but will be hoping their new bid is enough to convince Southampton to part ways with the player.

Sulemana a gem in disappointing Southampton season

Southampton were relegated from the Premier League in the 2024-25 campaign; the Saints finishing bottom of the table with just 12 points and two wins from their 38 league games.

Despite this, Sulemana was a stand-out star for the south coast club. In the league, the Ghanaian forward scored one goal and assisted one in 26 appearances. He added to his tally in the FA Cup, scoring once and assisting once in two matches – and registering one assist in the Carabao Cup.
