The Saarland club came within a whisker of Bundesliga promotion, but look like they will have to start from scratch again as more stars threaten to leave.
According to Sky Germany’s information, Lukas Pinckert is a candidate to depart SV Elversberg this summer.
Transfer reporter Philipp Hinze is aware of the 25-year-old’s desire to take the next step in his still youthful career.
Although Pinckert has received several inquiries from various German sides, TSG Hoffenheim have expressed the strongest interest.
Talks with the Sinsheim outfit have been ongoing since April, however unnamed sides from Belgium and France are also keen.
Traditionally a eight-sided centre-half by trade, Pinckert can also play as a right full-back and should cost around €2million.
Pinckert made 33 appearances for Elversberg last season where he provided 2 assists as they narrowly missed out on Bundesliga promotion.
