Manchester United could reportedly trigger the release clause of Fiorentina striker Moise Kean by tomorrow’s deadline, according to Corriere dello Sport.
The Red Devils are keen on bolstering their strike force ahead of next season and Kean is one of the top names on their shortlist, as per The Athletic.
The club have been linked with him on numerous occasions and reports now claim that they could trigger his €52m buy-out clause which expires tomorrow night.
Kean had a superb debut campaign for Fiorentina, registering 25 goals from 44 outings. Just one of his goals came from the penalty spot last term.
His standout season has caught the eye of United, but they may be reluctant to trigger his release clause which would require a one-time payment.
Fiorentina are reluctant to negotiate and could keep hold of him next season. They are ready to hand him a new contract with a salary hike.
Kean has turned down a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia.
