Die Werkself have sent instructors to develop young coaches and children in facets of the beautiful game.

As part of a project under the Football Club Social Alliance (FCSA), Bayer Leverkusen are contributing to their efforts in East Africa.

Instructors traveled to Uganda for a few days of a 4-month training program, where 48 young coaches learned the basics of training design in youth football.

The young coaches were able to put their newly acquired skills to use right away at a football festival involving 150 children from the Rhino Camp refugee settlement.

In the coming months, they will further deepen their knowledge through an online module and conduct regular training sessions with children.

In October, the FCSA instructors will return to Uganda to impart further knowledge in a third and final module at the camp.
