Bayern prepare second offer for Woltemade

According to Bild, Bayern Munich are preparing to table a second offer for VfB Stuttgart striker Nick Woltemade.

Having seen an opening bid of €40 million plus €5 million in bonuses for Nick Woltemade turned down by VfB Stuttgart, Bayern Munich are now planning to increase their offer, according to Bild.

The German tabloid reports that the Bundesliga champions are expected to submit a new bid for the German international later this week.

It’s further claimed that Stuttgart’s board has agreed that should the next offer be €65 million or more, the club will consider whether that provides a basis to arrange an in-person meeting with the Bavarians to discuss a potential transfer.

So far, Stuttgart bosses Fabian Wohlgemuth and Alexander Wehrle have declined to meet with Bayern about the striker, as the difference in valuation has simply been too big.
