Udinese striker Lorenzo Lucca is on the verge of beginning his medical with Napoli and joining the Partenopei: I’m ready, said the Italy international.
Lucca departed from Milan’s Linate Airport on Thursday morning, heading to Rome’s Villa Stuart to undergo his Napoli medical.
Lucca briefly spoke to Sportitalia before taking off this morning. When asked if he was ready to sign for the defending Serie A champions, Lucca replied: “Yes.”
Lucca scored 12 Serie A goals for Udinese last season.
Napoli will sign the striker on an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy.
