The new Lookman proposal from Inter that Atalanta could accept for 45m plus add-ons

Atalanta have set the asking price for Ademola Lookman and could potentially accept if Inter raised their offer to €45m plus €5m in fairly easy to achieve add-ons.

La Dea are always tough negotiators and will never sell unless it is at their conditions, so this situation is no different.

The demand was at least €50m guaranteed and the initial offer of €40m was rejected immediately, but it was only the start of the negotiation process.

Inter knew they would have to increase that proposal and a possible middle ground could be €45m plus €5m in add-ons that are quite simple to activate.

The payment schedule is another situation that needs to be evaluated, as it cannot be spread out too much, therefore the loan with obligation to buy.

There is always the risk of a club from overseas stepping in to create more drama, for example Atletico Madrid, so that can never be ruled out.

What we do know is that Inter have a total agreement over personal terms with Inter, a contract worth €5m plus performance-related bonuses per season, now they need the rest.
