Manchester United are reportedly keeping tabs on Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson as they seek a fresh solution upfront.
The Red Devils misfired in the final third in the Premier League last season and they scored only 44 goals from 38 matches.
Their situation has not improved yet. United played out a goalless draw against Leeds in their opening friendly today.
Rasmus Hojlund barely provided a threat on goal and the club may need to find a new solution ahead of the new campaign.
Jackson has not been a prolific goalscorer during his time with the Blues, but the Senegalese has the knack for creating chances.
The 24-year-old is much better with his movement behind the backline and also has the ability to score long-range goals on his day.
He would provide a fresh dimension to the United attack. He could be signed in a swap deal for Alejandro Garnacho.
Chelsea may want some cash on top of the Argentine, given they reportedly value their striker at a staggering £100 million.
