Alfredo Pedulla reports that Inter have turned down requests from both Man Utd and Atalanta for the teenage sensation.

Pedulla says that Inter have no plans to sell the 20-year-old, who is considered the most promising young Italian striker around.

The Nerazzurri have a long-term plan for the player and see him as an important part of their future.

It is for this reason that Inter have this week rejected a proposal by Atalanta to include him in negotiations to take Ademola Lookman to San Siro.

Pio Esposito not joining Man Utd

Man Utd have been long-term admirers of Esposito and had an initial offer for the player rejected during the Januar transfer window.

Esposito has been on loan at Spezia in Serie B for the last two seasons, scoring 22 goals in 79 appearances.

He has been a key player for the Italy Under-21 national team, scoring seven goals in 11 games.

However, he missed the recent Under-21 Euro due to injury.

Esposito is back at Inter now and set to be part of the first-team squad for the 2025-26 season. He impressed during the Club World Cup, scoring his first goal for the club in the 2-0 win over River Plate.

He is part of a famous football family, with his two older brothers Sebastiano (also at Inter) and Salvatore (at Spezia) also Italy Under-21 internationals.

Inter have been very active on the summer transfer market, already signing Ange-Yoan Bonny, Nicola Zalewski, Petar Sucic and Luiz Henrique for a total cost of over €75m.

They are also in negotiations to sign Atalanta star Lookman.
