Arsenal are on the verge of reaching a total agreement to sign Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres, according to a bombshell report from David Ornstein.
Mikel Arteta’s side have been locked in negotiations with Sporting for several weeks and it appears as though they have finally reached a complete breakthrough in talks.
That is according to The Athletic’s Ornstein, who claims that Arsenal are now adding the “finishing touches” to the transfer, with Gyokeres expected to complete his move to north London imminently.
The Sweden international will join the Gunners for an initial fee of €63.5 million, with a further €10m in add-ons, and he has signed a five-year contract at the club.
