The Swabians boss has further dismissed the prospect of Woltemade joining the Bavarians.

Club sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth has reinforced the belief that Nick Woltemade will be part of VfB Stuttgart’s squad next season.

“There’s no news. Nick [Woltemade] will very likely be part of our squad again this season,” he told Sky Germany.

“We’ve communicated that clearly and unequivocally. It’s our responsibility to focus on what will help us get a good start to the new season.

“That’s why we’re only thinking about the relevant topics. A transfer of Nick under the current circumstances is simply not relevant,” he added.

Wohlgemuth also revealed that neither Uli Hoeneß or Max Eberl invited him for a meeting at their homes in Tegernsee.

“I’ve received many invitations, but not from my colleagues. I wouldn’t even know where they live,” he explained.
