Roma targeted Echeverri, Nene, Fabio Silva and Nusa for attacking 2025-26 role

Roma are still seeking an attacking wide man, with options including Claudio Echeverri of Manchester City, Dorgeles Nene, Fabio Silva, Julio Enciso and Antonio Nusa.

The Giallorossi have already invested heavily this summer to revamp the squad in the vision of new coach Gian Piero Gasperini.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, the former Atalanta tactician is pressuring director of sport Frederic Massara to find him a player in one particular role.

That is a wide forward who can take men on and allow him to adapt fully to the 3-4-2-1 formation.

Echeverri top of Roma wish list

The first choice would seem to be Echeverri, who is available on loan from Manchester City and reportedly turned down a move to Girona.

The two clubs could negotiate an option to buy along with a counter-option.

Other candidates include Red Bull Salzburg winger Dorgeles Nene, a 22-year-old Mali international who had already been linked with Bologna this summer.

With 15 goals and nine assists last season, he could be available on loan.

More expensive alternatives are Enciso of Brighton and Hove Albion, RB Leipzig talent Nusa, and versatile Fabio Silva.

While Fabio Silva could not be released on loan, his price tag could be as little as €15m, considering his contract with Wolves expires at the end of the season.
