Ole Werner has a couple of big calls to make in the coming weeks.

Sky Germany notes that a final decision on who will be first-choice goalkeeper under Ole Werner has yet to be decided.

“We want to get some more impressions in Lens. Both have done really well so far,” said Werner, of Maarten Vandevoordt and Péter Gulácsi.

Furthermore, the captain’s armband hasn’t been finalized yet either, with Werner set to come to a decision in the near future.

“We’ll probably decide next week. When Willi Orban is there, he always has a certain presence for the team.

“He does well, and takes responsibility. That’s all I can say for now,” said the Leipzig head coach of the 32-year-old defender.

Last season when fit, the Hungarian centre-half was the skipper of Die Roten Bullen where he donned the armband in 25 Bundesliga games
