Tyrique George’s name is linked with a couple of Bundesliga clubs.
During club-to-club conversations with Chelsea for the transfer of Xavi Simons, RB Leipzig asked for the condition to a potential move of Tyrique George to Bundesliga. Fabrizio Romano also added another club to the mix for the 19-year-old striker.
Borussia Mönchengladbach are the other German club mentioned to have an interest as George demands regular playing time in the upcoming season. Romano also confirmed it’s a separate topic for Leipzig from Xavi Simons’ switch the other way round.
George only scored three goals for Chelsea, including his strike in the Club World Cup against Esperance. He missed the U19 Euros to compete in the revamped tournament by FIFA.
