Chelsea are close to finalising personal terms with Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho over a transfer, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Blues are expected to make multiple additions to their squad in the coming days. They recently landed Jorrel Hato from Ajax and are now negotiating the transfer of Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig.
Once that is done, the club are expected to focus on securing a deal for Garnacho, who has been deemed surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.
The 21-year-old had a public fall-out with manager Ruben Amorim, and the latter recently confirmed that the winger has decided to move on.
United were aiming to secure around £60 million for his transfer last winter, but could sanction his sale for a reduced £40m fee this summer.
The Blues are close to finalising terms with the player. They have a free run at landing him with his desire to continue in the Premier League.
