Chelsea are negotiating a double transfer deal with Borussia Dortmund ahead of the transfer deadline, according to Sky Sport Germany.
The Blues are keen on offloading some of the deadwood in the squad, and Carney Chukwuemeka is one of those expected to depart soon.
Dortmund have been negotiating with the Blues for the past few weeks, and they are now close to securing an agreement for the playmaker.
Alongside him, the Bundesliga giants are also poised to land young centre-back Aaron Anselmino on a season-long loan deal from the Blues.
Anselmino arrived from Boca Juniors with a big reputation earlier this year, and he will be allowed to secure valuable first-team experience.
Chelsea are preparing for a busy end to the summer transfer window. The likes of Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku could also depart.
There will be incomings as well. Alejandro Garnacho and Xavi Simons are widely expected to be signed by the west London heavyweights.
