Man Utd enter race for Angelo Stiller

Manchester United have made an offer to sign VfB Stuttgart defensive midfielder Angelo Stiller, as the Old Trafford outfit seek to bring in one defensive midfielder before the end of the summer transfer window. 24-year-old Stiller has played four times for Germany’s national team, and has been with Stuttgart since 2023, playing 63 times in the Bundesliga.

With uncertainty over the availability of Casemiro at the centre of United’s midfield, the club are seeking to bring at least one new face to provide competition. Stiller is considered one of the Bundesliga’s most consistent midfielders and will be a welcome acquisition at United for a fee of around 27.5 million euros.

Angelo Stiller could be a smart signing for Manchester United because he offers composure, intelligence, and consistency in midfield, qualities the team has lacked at times.
