TSG Hoffenheim have seemingly found their replacement for Koki Machida, who tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee at the weekend.

On Sunday, TSG Hoffenheim confirmed that new signing Koki Machida suffered a cruciate ligament rupture in Saturday’s 2-1 win over Bayer Leverkusen.

In response to the long-term injury, the Sinsheim club have now agreed a deal to sign Albian Hajdari from FC Lugano as his replacement, according to Sky Germany.

The 22-year-old Swiss centre-back is set to undergo his medical on Monday, with a reported transfer fee of €5 million agreed between the two clubs.

Hajdari, who has also been linked with Sevilla and West Ham, has made a total of 110 appearances for Lugano.
