Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are keeping tabs on Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo ahead of the transfer deadline, according to Sport.
The England international has fallen out-of-favour under manager Ruben Amorim and has not featured in the first two games of the new season.
Amorim has clearly said that Mainoo is fighting for a replace with Bruno Fernandes, which should add more concern to the United graduate.
Fernandes has been an undisputed starter in the number eight role of late, and it is highly unlikely that the manager will drop him from the XI.
Amidst this, it is claimed that Madrid and Atletico keeping a close eye on the situation and could make a late approach for the 20-year-old.
Mainoo is not actively pushing for an exit, but he is prepared to move on if a suitable offer arrives before the transfer window concludes.
Madrid or Atletico are likely to propose an initial loan deal for him.
