Angelo Stiller has confirmed he has no plans to leave VfB Stuttgart for now and revealed that he hopes to finish his career playing in the United States.

For a while now, Angelo Stiller has been linked with a move away from VfB Stuttgart, with the likes of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid said to be among his suitors.

At the moment, however, the former Bayern youth prospect has no intention of leaving Stuttgart.

“I’m not thinking about a transfer right now,” Stiller told Sport Bild.

“I discussed with my management that this is not an option for me at the moment. I am a regular starter and a leadership player here. For my development, the most important thing is that I get my minutes especially ahead of the World Cup. I absolutely did not want to jeopardize participating in the World Cup.”

Looking further ahead, Stiller said a move abroad could be an option in the future.

“Fundamentally, to play abroad at some point tempts me. I thought Florian Wirtz’s decision to go to Liverpool was cool,” he said.

He also revealed a long-term goal:

“At the end of my career, I absolutely want to play in the U.S., in MLS. This plan, this goal, is 100 percent set.”
