Seven players omitted from Stuttgart’s Europa League squad

Notable absences from VfB Stuttgart’s Europa League roster include Ameen Al-Dakhil, Leonidas Stergiou, and Pascal Stenzel.

VfB Stuttgart have announced their squad for the league phase of the Europa League and there are some notable omissions.

Defenders Ameen Al-Dakhil, Leonidas Stergiou and Pascal Stenzel have all been left out.

In addition, midfielders Yannick Keitel, Silas Katompa Mvumpa, Noah Darvich and striker Justin Diehl are not included in the squad.

Stuttgart will kick off their Europa League campaign against Spanish side Celta Vigo on 25 September.

They will also face Fenerbahce, Feyenoord, Go Ahead Eagles, Maccabi Tel Aviv, AS Roma, and Young Boys during the league stage.
