Manchester United have a very strong interest in signing Brentford midfielder Yehor Yarmolyuk during the winter transfer window.

The Red Devils were keen on landing a new midfielder during the summer, but could not find a suitable target before the transfer deadline.

United are likely to search for a solution in the New Year and reports in Ukraine claim that the club are serious about signing Yarmolyuk.

The 21-year-old signed for the Bees from Dnipro three years ago. He has become an undisputed starter in the Premier League this campaign.

The Ukrainian has caught the eye with his tireless work rate and recovering from the centre of the park. He can operate in multiple midfield roles.

His versatility and hard-working ethic would suit the Red Devils, who are keen on finding an upgrade on Casemiro, who is no longer in his prime.

It has been reported that Brentford could sell Yarmolyuk for 30 million pounds, but it is unclear whether they would entertain a January sale.
