SC Freiburg failed to score for the first time this season with their goalless draw at Borussia-Park. Johan Manzambi, who scored a 90th-minute winner when the two teams last met, changed the trajectory of the game after coming on for the second-half.

“I believe we had the better chances during the second half,” said Freiburg’s coach after the game. “That could have turned the game in our favour. It was a different story altogether before the break.

“I had the feeling that we could have linked up more effectively in certain moments. We could’ve also made better decisions at times. I’m frustrated about that. But we have to accept the point.”
